I haven’t been this taken with a series of artwork in an incredibly long time. I am so in awe of these gemstone paintings by Carly Waito, it’s ridiculous. I’d like one of each please.

This is a photographic series by Jon Shireman titled Broken Flowers. The project saw him soaking a number of flowers in liquid nitrogen, smashing them and then photographing the fascinating results. Pretty rad.

Wayne White is Los Angeles-based artist with a colourful history in design and art. These ‘Word paintings’ are from his new collection that form his “I Say A Lot Of Things” exhibition that’s currently showing in Dallas, Texas.
The collection consists of thrifted landscape paintings with 3-D phrases painted over them. Below are a few of my favourites.

Failed Abstract Paintings Of The Seventies, 2003
All The Way Over There She’s All “Genius This Genius That” So We Get There And He Brings His Work Out And I Don’t Like It And He’s Pouting, Waiting For Me To Say Something And I Can’t, 2012
