These very beautiful art pieces are made up of elastic bands with images printed on them. These pieces were conceived and done by artist Hong Sunchul.
The string concept is “a visual representation of what ties humans together from the earliest stage of life – the umbilical chord. These strings, upon which an image is printed, are staggered in his works and interlace to reveal a final representation – one of support or loneliness”
